The feeling of fall settled onto me today, wandering Cambie and Main Street Vancouver, admiring the red leaves, wrapped up in a coat and hands in my pockets. The old houses in Vancouver – bright colours, unique architecture, wooden doors and pillars, old brick, surrounded by mature trees and grown-up ivy – are breathtaking. They look full of family, too. Streets decorated with community-tended gardens. Main street is overflowing with funky restaurants and cafes. I wandered around the consignment stores feeling alive with that inspired feeling that comes only from exploring new places.
